Dunstana Melo

Ph.D. in Biophysics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She has served on the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) as a member of four task technical groups and she has served as a consultant in the development of United Nations Scientific Committee on Effects of Atomic Radiation (UNSCEAR) reports. She founded Melohill Technology Inc. and is the president and chief scientist. Melohill Technology’s mission is to improve public health by providing industry-leading biomedical research and consulting services including radiation dose assessment, medical countermeasures to mitigate radiation health effects, and guidance for radiation emergency response.
