Nessa publicação, a Presidente da SBBN assina 4 páginas sobre as áreas de atuação e atividades da SBBN, as quais contaram com a colaboração dos professores Fabio L.N.Marques (FMUSP), Mario Bernardo-Filho (UERJ) e Thiago de Salazar e Fernandes (UFPE).
Sugerimos que, para a próxima publicação prevista para setembro 2018, os membros da SBBN interessados encaminhem um texto sobre as aplicações de técnicas ópticas em diagnóstico e terapia, com ênfase para os respectivos efeitos biológicos dos lasers de baixa potência e terapia fotodinâmica. As instruções podem ser encontradas nas orientações a seguir:

Instructions for preparing materials to be published in IUPAB News
-Articles or reports related to events should not be longer than about 1000 words. They should be accompanied by 1-3 graphical illustrations.
-We may accept scientific articles focused on divulgation. Again they will be not longer than about 1000 words with 1-3 illustrations.If the illustrations have been already published elsewher and are protected by a copyright we will need a permission to reproduce.
-For courses or workshops flyers are acceptable.
-We also accept articles published locally, again accompanied by the pertinent permission to reproduce them.
-Opinon articles or Letters to the Editor about scientific issues of broad interest may be also acceptable, again with less than 1000 words and accompanied by illustrations (1-3).
Issue #69 will be published in September 2018.
